Our primary research interest is to develop brain-style intelligence by modeling neural systems and cognitive computation, and thus to implementing brain based computing in neuromorphic circuits and robots. By engineering neural circuits of the brain, we are intrigued to develop innovative neuromorphic sensors, neuromorphic processors and neuro-cognitive robots. We also interested in overlapping areas of computational intelligence, machine learning, autonomous and intelligent systems, etc.
